Questions current families ask most

Below are answers to common questions about scheduling, attendance, insurance changes, progress, and continuing therapy services.

How do I schedule or change an appointment?

For scheduling changes, please contact our front office as soon as possible so we can help find the best available option for your family.

What if my child begins school-based therapy?

That’s completely okay. If your child begins receiving services at school, our team can help determine how outpatient therapy may continue to complement those supports based on your child’s goals and needs.

Who do I contact if I need to cancel?

Please notify our office as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule so we can support your family and offer that opening to another patient.

What is Fusion’s cancellation policy?

We ask families to provide as much notice as possible for cancellations. This helps us serve other families who may be waiting for an opening and helps your child stay consistent with care.

What happens if we miss a session?

Missed sessions can interrupt progress, especially when therapy is part of a consistent weekly routine. If a visit is missed, our team will help determine next steps and rescheduling options when available.

What happens if my insurance changes?

Please let our front office know as soon as possible if your insurance changes so we can verify updated benefits and help avoid interruptions in care.

Who do I contact with billing questions?

Our office can help direct billing questions and connect you with the appropriate team member for account or payment-related concerns.

How will I know if my child is making progress?

Your therapist will share updates regularly, discuss goals, and communicate progress throughout your child’s plan of care. Parent collaboration is an important part of that process.

How do I know when my child is ready to graduate therapy?

Graduation from therapy is based on progress toward goals, functional independence, and therapist recommendations. We’ll always keep you informed as your child moves through that journey.

Can my child return if concerns arise again?

Yes. If new concerns come up in the future, our team can help guide you through the next steps for returning to therapy services as needed.

Can my child receive more than one therapy service at a time?

Yes. Some children benefit from more than one therapy discipline at the same time. Our team works collaboratively to support the whole child and create a plan that makes sense for your family.
